LAS VEGAS — Buffalo Technologies introduced its new CloudStor and USB 3.0 storage solutions earlier this month at International CES.

The CloudStor uses the PogoPlug cloud service to allow users to access their data from anywhere, yet the content resides on the device not in the cloud, the company said. PogoPlug maintains a secure connection between the device and whoever is designated to access the information.

The CloudStor will ship in February, with the 1TB version carrying a $169 suggested retail and the 2TB model costing $269.

The DriveStation Quad is available in two SKUs, 4TB and 8TB, with respective suggested prices of $629 and $1,199.
