LAWRENCE, KAN. — MartinLogan added to its line of headphones with the introduction of the Mikros 90, its first on-ear model.
The Mikros 90 ($299 suggested retail) has 35mm drivers, a leather and aluminum construction, and ear pads that are said to isolate up to 92.05 percent of ambient noise. Features include a sound-dampening rubberized cord, folding design and in-line mic and controls. Frequency response is listed at 6Hz to 22kHz, with impedance of 26 ohms, sensitivity of 98dB and max power of 300mW.
It’s scheduled to ship this month and joins the company’s other headphone, the Mikros 70, which is an in-ear model.
