Outdoor Tech Bows Bluetooth Adapter
LOS ANGELES — Outdoor Tech recently introduced the Adapt, a plugand- play Bluetooth adapter.
The Adapt is billed as being compatible with an “unlimited amount” of headphones, speakers and hometheater systems, enabling them to operate wirelessly. The circularshaped Adapt can then control them directly. It can also be clipped to clothing.
Other features include a built-in mic, lithium-polymer rechargeable battery and MicroUSB charger.
It comes in black, pink or blue for $39.95.
Scosche Launches Lightning Chargers
OXNARD, CALIF. — Scosche Industries debuted wall and car chargers meant for use with the new Apple Lightening connector.
The StrikeDrive car charger and StrikeBase home charger both feature a captive Lightning-compatible cable and come in 5-watt and 12-watt versions.
The StrikeDrive 12w + 12w version has a captive cable with both MircoUSB and Lightning tips, as well as a second 12-watt port for simultaneously charging two USB-powered devices.
Scosche also introduced the Strike- Base Pro 5w + 5w, StrikeBase Pro 12w + 12w, and StrikeDrive Pro 12w + 12w models.
