Aaron’s Adds Global Warranty Group

ATLANTA – Aaron’s, the lease-to-own CE, appliance and furniture chain, has signed Global Warranty Group (GWG) as its exclusive extended service provider. Under terms of the agreement, GWG will provide protection plans for appliances, electronics and computers, and riding mowers.

“GWG’s experience, innovation, expertise and consumer focus is what we are looking to provide to our customers,” said Aaron’s merchandising director Tom Blamire. “This will help Aaron’s strengthen our existing relationships and improve our overall brand experience with our customers.”

Bankers Warranty Leverages Twitter At CES

LAS VEGAS – Bankers Warranty Group (BWG) literally turned heads at International CES with a Twitter-based find-the-BWG exec contest. Team members tweeted their locations as they traveled the show and the town, and contestants were tasked with finding them and posting selfies of the encounter. Winners received Brookstone massage chairs and headphones.

“It’s important to let potential clients know that we are serious about their business, but are also a lot of fun to work with,” said general manager Dawn Morris.
