Rockford Fosgate Releases Ship Dates Of New Amps, Speakers

TEMPE, ARIZ. – New Rockford Fosgate products include mono and stereo amps in the Power series, the brand’s first direct-fit BMW speakers, and the brand’s first direct-fit motorcycle amplifier/speaker systems, which are intended for Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

The company is also adding to its high-end Power series of component speakers, updating all six models in its Prime R1 subwoofer series, and adding to its marine amp series.

Three new Power amps are said to be efficient enough for installation in hybrid and electric vehicles as well as in motorcycles and side-by-side UTVs. They’re priced from a suggested $499 to $549 and ship in April.

Also in April, the brand will ship the $74-suggested RFPEQU Universal Punch EQ. It adds a built-in line driver to combat noise problems when connected to an amp.

In its high-end Power series of component speakers, the brand is adding the $999-suggested twoway, 150-watt 6.5-inch T4652-S. Feb. 19 shipments are planned.

In updating the entire six-model Prime R1 subwoofer line, the brand plans Feb. 19 shipment of 10- and 12-inch models and four sealed-enclosure options at prices from a suggested $59 to $249.

For the marine market, the brand has begun shipping the $499-suggested 1,200-watt (RMS), fivechannel, M600-5 Prime series amp.

The direct-fit BMW speakers consist of three twoway component pairs, all shipping in April at a suggested $599/pair for use in BMWs from model years 2004 and up.

For 1998-2013 Harley-Davidson motorcycles, complete two- and four-channel systems consist of a matched amplifier and speakers, amp mounting plate, and a wiring harness. They will ship in the second quarter for Harley’s Street Glide, Electra Glide, and Ultra motorcycles.
