NEW YORK — TWICE is proud to announce its firstever products awards program — the TWICE VIP (Very Important Product) Awards.
The TWICE VIPs will give retailers and distributors the chance to honor the products that have made the biggest difference in their business.
Voted on only by retailers and distributors, the TWICE VIPs are based on product features, product design, and value to consumers. They must be products that have been sold at retail in the U.S., or are scheduled to be sold at retail, from Nov. 1, 2012, to April 1, 2013.
Manufacturers interested in having their products entered in the TWICE VIP Award competition can enter online by visiting TWICE.com.
The entries will include a 250 words or fewer description of the product features, when it was (or will be) shipped to retailers, and one high-res picture for use with the ballot. Manufacturers can enter as many products as they want, in as many categories as they want.
The entry fee is $250 per product nominated. Deadline for nominee submissions is Monday, April 15.
Once all the nominees have been submitted, online voting will begin, scheduled to start May 6 and run through June 28. Once ballots have been reviewed by TWICE editors, winners will be announced in early July.
The winners will all be featured in the Aug. 12 print and digital editions of TWICE, which will feature the list of nominees and profiles of the winning products.
