INDIANAPOLIS – Digital Projection International (DPI) travels to CEDIA Expo to unveil the latest addition to its value-driven HIGHlite Cine three-chip DLP series – the 330-3D.\
Two new models will be launched at CEDIA 2012: a high contrast version delivering 2500 lumens and greater than 10,000:1 contrast ratio, and a high brightness version delivering 4500 lumens.
The HIGHlite 3D marks a new chapter for DPI by offering a threechip 3D DLP product at a more conservative price point. Priced at less than a $30,000 suggested retail with lens included, the new HIGHlite 330-3D can be configured with fixed or zoom lens options, allowing for expanded installation flexibility.
DPI’s previous advanced 3D projectors included TITAN Reference 1080p-3D three-chip model, which was priced about 60 percent higher than the HIGHlite 3D 330-3D.
The new 3D projector produces up to 4500 lumens of light output and native 1080p, three-chip 3D performance, continuing DPI’s legacy of offering the most capable and diverse 3D projectors available today.
DPI points out that “brightness is an essential characteristic when selecting a 3D projector for home entertainment. Of paramount importance in any projector, however, is the overall image quality in both 2D and 3D modes. With up to 4,500 lumens on tap, the new HIGHlite 330-3D models provide more than enough brightness to thrive in large-screen dedicated theaters, as well as in home venues with some ambient light, such as media rooms with smaller screen sizes.”
It also features a compact and quiet chassis, broad source connectivity and straightforward user interface.
The 330-3D also has overall power efficiency and a long-life lamp system producing very little heat.
This TWICE webinar, hosted by senior editor Alan Wolf, will take a look at what may be the hottest CE products at retail that will be sold during the all-important fourth quarter. Top technologies, market strategies and industry trends will be discussed with industry analysts and executives.
