Peleman Industries said it would ship a new wire binding system for creating calendars and photo books in store.

The announcement was made at the PhotoPlus Expo, here, last week.

The Unibind UniWire 3 works with thick, non-flexible, or laminated photo paper and can punch up to 25 sheets at once. It can bind a total of 120 sheets.

The kit includes a binder, an assembly guide and wire cutter.

Alongside calendars, the UniWire can also create photo books in three sizes: 6-inch by 8-inch, 8- by 11-inch and 8.5- by 11-inch. It requires Unibind's Your PhotoBook book covers and will work with one or two sided paper.

The UniWire 3 has a list price of $599.
