Oregon Scientific To Add ATC Video Cameras

Oregon Scientific will add models to its ATC waterproof video camera line in July and August.

The cameras include mounting attachments to strap onto a user or to sporting gear such as a bike or helmet. They record VGA video at 30 fps to 32MB worth of internal memory or SD cards (up to 4GB).

The cameras are waterproof up to 10 feet and are shock-resistant.

The ATC3K, for $149, features a 48-degree field of view and can double as a Web cam or portable media player.

It will ship in July.

The $199 ATC5K boasts a 1.5-inch color LCD, still photo capture, a 53-degree field of view and includes a remote control.

It will ship in August.
