Kodak's wholesale photofinishing subsidiary Qualex will offer personalized photo merchandise on Major League Baseball's Web site.
Thanks to the new partnership, visitors to MLB.com can upload digital images and create licensed photo merchandise. Starting next year, select Qualex retail partners can begin to offer MLB-licensed merchandise as well.
An initial selection of merchandise launched last month at www.mlbfanphotos.com. New products came online throughout the post-season, including products for the 2008 All-Star Game and the final year at Yankee Stadium, Kodak said.
It is the first time that MLB.com has offered personalized photo merchandise on its Web site.
