Samsung managed to outpace rival Sony by producing the top-selling LCD TV in the 36-inch and above segment with the 40-inch LNS4051D.

While Motorola grabbed more than a 50 percent share of the category, Plantronics’ 510 was the only noise-cancelling model in the top 10 and had the highest suggested retail at $99.95.

Leading the pack in unit volume for the past year, according to The NPD Group, is Maytag with its MFI2568AES, a 24.9-cubic-foot, stainless-steel behemoth that extends the Whirlpool division’s Ice20 external ice- and water-dispensing platform.
