New Jersey’s Retail Vacancy Rate Is Rising

New Jersey’s native son Bruce Springsteen probably wasn’t thinking retail vacancies when he wrote “The Rising,” but the Garden State, which is among the nation’s most heavily stored regions, is feeling the bite of brick-and-mortar consolidation nonetheless.

“A new analysis released this week shows which New Jersey communities have been hit hardest by several rounds of store closings this year, and some that are expected for 2017.”
