Wal-Mart is reportedly in negotiations to buy Jet.com for an estimated $3 billion.The move would give the discount chain a much needed dot.com boost while providing Jet with the resources it needs to compete in the cut-throat e-commerce space.
“Wal-Mart is in talks to buy online discount retailer Jet.com, according to people familiar with the matter, in what would mark a disappointing end for one of the most ambitious challengers to Amazon.”
