Thomson announced this month that it will launch a DECT-based cordless phone for Skype users.
The GE DECT 6.0 Wireless Handset (model 28300EE2) is a dual landline/Skype product that will ship this fall for a suggested $149.
The handset features Skype-to-landline conferencing, a built-in speakerphone, color LCD to display Skype contacts and landline caller ID, a 100 name address book and several ring tones.
The phone offers a 10 hour talk time with 120 hours of standby power. It supports Skype's calling features, including SkypeIn/Out and voicemail.
The phone ships with two handsets and is expandable up to a total of six. The accessory handset will retail for a suggested $49.99.
