CEA Promotes 'Watch The Road' Campaign

ARLINGTON, VA — The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) is asking retailers to help promote its "Watch the Road" campaign in order to safeguard new technology in the car against regulatory legislation.

The campaign provides consumer tips for using electronics safely in a car. CEA will supply in store signage for the campaign and possibly "Watch the Road" hang tags, which retailers can place in a consumer's car after an installation.

CEA says the campaign is important because if consumers are educated about using CE devices properly in the car then legislation involving these devices can be avoided.
