Parrot Adds Retailers

AUSTIN, Texas — Parrot announced that three leading retailers: Wireless Giant, Abt Electronics and Tweeter will carry the company's Bluetooth car kits. Michigan-based, 95-store, cellular chain Wireless Giant will use the InstallerNet installation network of 1500 installers for car kit installation. Both Abt and Tweeter will carry the Parrot CK3000, CK3100 and 3200 LS-Color 12 volt kits, Parrot said.

Scosche Debuts Dash Kit For New Honda Civics

OXNARD, Calif.— Scosche is shipping an in-dash replacement installation kit for the 2006 Honda Civic. The kit accommodates both singe- and double-DIN chassis radios and comes in two matched factory color options, grey and taupe. The kit HA1561(DG/ET)B began shipping in August at a suggested retail price of $69.95.

Rosen Ships Headrest System

CORONA, Calif.—Rosen Entertainment will ship this month one of the first headrest monitor systems with built-in video games. The Rosen AV7000 has two, 7-inch widescreen DVD/monitors that can be placed in custom headrests for over 130 vehicle applications. Each monitor also has 15 built-in, 16-bit video games with its own wireless controller. The units have FM transmitters and can swap between headrests at $1,999 SRP.
