Jasco’s latest GE-brand offering is a Bluetooth headset that rests on a user’s shoulders.
GE Bluetooth Neckphones (model 86708) are designed to be worn loosely around the neck, offering “concealment, comfort and convenience,” according to the company. The product is being marketed as an alternative to heavier head- and ear-supported headset models. The Neckphones support Bluetooth headset and handset profile ranges and include one-touch power and volume buttons.
A base that charges the headset is included, allowing five hours of talktime and 250 hours of standby time per charge. The Neckphones can also be charged by portable AC power or through a USB connection. The product is shipping now with a $79.99 suggested retail price.
