Jabra Introducing Bluetooth Headset Foursome

Jabra is showing a variety of new Bluetooth headsets during International CES which include the BT620s, BT325s, BT160 and JX10 Bluetooth headsets.

The Jabra BT620 features a street-style neckband, hi-fi frequency response speakers, stereo music player functions on speakers, background noise reduction based upon DSP technology and three-color LED lights for easy user-interface. It also features up to 16 hours talktime, up to 14 hours music playing and up to 240 hours of standby. The unit has a suggested $129 retail, and is expected to launch in the first quarter.

The BT325 is billed by the company as being “rain-shower proof.” The main unit weighs less than 0.7 ounce, and the headphones’ weight is less than 0.5 ounce. Retail package includes a set of original Jabra headphones with foam, pads, AC charger and integrated clothing clip. It offers up to eight hours talktime and up to 240 hours standby. Units have a suggested retail of $99 and are expected to launch in the first quarter.

The BT160 features up to six hours talktime and up to 110 hours standby, call answer/end, voice activated dialing and last-number redial. It also offers multicolored LED for status on Bluetooth, battery and charging, and it supports Bluetooth 1.2 headset and hands-free profiles. The unit weighs 3/5 of an ounce and has a $59 suggested retail. It is expected to ship in the first quarter.

The JX10 from the Oak Brook, Ill.-based company boasts a stylish, compact and intelligent design, according to Jabra. It weighs less than one-third ounce and measures less than 1.5 inches in length. The unit offers digital signal processing, which reportedly improves audio quality in windy or noisy environments and automatically adjusts volume levels in response to background noise.

Features include up to six hours of talktime and up to 200 hours of standby time, and a multicolored LED light that indicates Bluetooth connection, battery life and charging status. Also included are voice dial, call hold/call wait, last-number r-dial and reject call functionality. The product has a suggested $179 retail and currently is available.
