  CHICAGO — Cobra Electronics reported a net loss of $509,000 and lower net sales for the third quarter, ended Sept. 30, but sees signs of a recovery. • RadioShack’s Q3 Sales, Net Slips

  FORT WORTH, TEXAS — RadioShack said third-quarter profits fell 24 percent to $37.4 million and net sales slipped 3.1 percent to $990 million for the three months ending Sept. 30. Same-store sales at company-owned stores and kiosks decreased 2.9 percent due to slower sales of digital converter boxes, laptop computers, batteries, wireless accessories and GPS devices.  More

  Espoo, Finland — Nokia is optimistic about mobile phones for the balance of the year, but reported a double-digit drop in net sales and loss in the third quarter compared with last year.
