  Stamford, Conn. — Philips Electronics said last week it is now shipping its Wireless HDTV Link, which wirelessly connects high-definition components to an HDTV display. The Wireless HDTV Link SWW1800/27 will send a wireless signal in up to 1080p high-definition resolution wirelessly to a TV display from a source device as far as 75 feet away.  More

  ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. — Bang & Olufsen is bringing some high-end gloss to the home phone category with its BeoCom 5 DECT 6.0 home phone system. The two-line BeoCom 5 supports both landline and IP telephony and can expand out up to eight handsets. The jet-black glossy phone features a 2-inch LCD display with 176 by 220-pixel resolution, nine display colors and eight ringtones.  More

• Griffin Unveils New Patterned Cases For iPhones

  Nashville, Tenn. — Griffin Technology recently introduced a variety of cases for the iPhone 3G and 3G S. The new Elan Form Etch is constructed of leather bonded to a “near-indestructible” polycarbonate inner shell, for two layers of protection, Griffin said. The leather outer layer is decorated with detailed etched pattern and an overstitch accent.  More
