Atlanta – Aaron’s, the lease-to-own CE, appliance and furniture chain, has signed Global Warranty Group (GWG) as its exclusive extended-service provider.
Under terms of the agreement, GWG will provide protection plans for appliances, electronics and computers, and riding mowers.

WASHINGTON – The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and SquareTrade, the extended-service plan provider, have collaborated on an instructional white paper for retailers seeking a service plan provider and higher attachment rates.
The report, based on CEA research released last fall, is the first in-depth analysis of protection-plan demand and consumer attitudes issued by the CEA. The trade association said it was prompted by recent changes in the extended-warranty industry and the growth of the mobile product segment.
Chicago — Warranty administrator and underwriter The Warranty Group has extended its 20-year partnership with NEW, the extended service plan provider.
The multi-year contract enables The Warranty Group, through its wholly owned insurance subsidiary Virginia Surety, to continue providing contractual liability insurance coverage, underwriting and actuarial support for several NEW protection plan programs.

The service is now included with GWG’s signature mobile warranty plans at no charge.

The ranking is based on Amtrust’s 28 percent earnings growth, 34 percent revenue growth, and a total return of 40 percent over the last three years.
