Van Nuys, Calif. — The PowerHouse Alliance and its members reported they recently completed the organization’s annual national sales meeting and “Mid Term Exam” event held at Volutone’s new facility, here.
The event, held for four days July 16-19, drew 13 PowerHouse members and 25 core vendors, according to Dennis Holzer, executive director of PowerHouse.
Vendors from all categories attended, including residential A/V, security, IT and commercial A/V, Holzer said.
Orange, Conn. – Krell Industries reports it has signed up as a vendor member with Azione Unlimited, the buyers group for towards integration professionals, and custom electronics retailers.
Under their membership, Krell said it will communicate with and educate fellow members, generate marketing opportunities, and maximize profits for their new partners.
Greenwood, Miss. — Viking Range has a new Midwest distributor.
Viking Range Distribution Midwest, effectively immediately, will distribute Viking's product lines in Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, eastern Missouri, eastern Iowa and the eastern Dakotas.
The region was previously served by LV Distributes (LVD), headquartered in Bensenville, Ill. LVD will continue to serve as the Viking parts distributor and an authorized Viking service company in these markets.
Clifton, N.J. — Ultimate Integration, a distributor of CE, security and IT lines for custom installers, opened its new showroom and warehouse, here, by welcoming suppliers and customers to the facility on Tuesday.
Alan Malowitz, sales director and CE distribution veteran; Matthew Weil, sales manager; and Patrick Berna, operations manager, said the company, which joined the PowerHouse Alliance in January, has upward of 300,000 square feet at the facility.
Eagan, Minn. – Capitol, the national distributor for residential systems contractors, retailers and pro A/V contractors, is introducing a three-tiered, no-hassle program of free shipping.
The effort, which goes into effect Aug. 5, was designed to provide free shipping for all but the smallest orders “and with the least amount of hassle,” the distributor said.
