Calabasas, Calif. – The PlayStation 4 is the first product available with DTS’s new DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 decoder, enabling the game console to decode 7.1-channel soundtracks streamed in the DTS-HD format.
The Sony game console became available today.
The new DTS decoder not only supports streamed and downloaded video incorporating DTS-HD-encoded soundtracks, but the decoders also decode any DTS audio format on optical discs, including DTS-HD Master Audio, the company said.
Oxnard, Calif. — Scosche Industries is now shipping one of its Custom Kit, Factory Fit install kits for 2011 and newer Honda Odysseys.
The HA1715B is designed for installation of an aftermarket head unit, and will accommodate either an ISO single-DIN mount with pocket or an ISO double-DIN mount. It comes with a pocket for single-DIN applications and reuses factory mounting brackets.
The kit is made with high-strength ABS/PC material, contoured to match the factory dash and painted black to match the factory color, the company said.

Phoenix — Television antenna resource Channel Master said Thursday that Sling Media’s Slingbox remote HD TV program viewing capability will now be available via an optional device for select Channel Master DVR products.
Slingbox will enable Channel Master DVR owners to view their live and recorded HD broadcast content for free on PC, TV, tablet and smartphone screens inside and outside of the home using a broadband connection.
