Voxx Introduces Android RSE

LAS VEGAS — Voxx used International CES to unveil an Android-based custom headrest entertainment system.

The system, shipping in the third quarter under the Audiovox and Advent brands, will let consumers use the Wi-Fi hotspots in their cellular smartphones to access the web. The system will also feature LCD monitor with LED backlighting; USB, SD and HDMI connection ports; Bluetooth technology; and a remote control.

The system will be available in more than 1,000 OE-style vehicle applications.
