Victorinox Swiss Army will be running a contest at International CES that challenges attendees to break into or bypass its data encryption and fingerprint-authentication technology. The technology is present on the company’s Presentation Master and Secure USB flash drives, and the first person to successfully break the technology will win $100,000.

“The Victorinox Crack the Code Contest is open to registered 2010 CES attendees. The first participant to break into or bypass the device security functions and access the secure data will win $100,000! All contest participants will receive a special gift for their efforts.
The competition takes place in the VSA booth 35708 in South Hall 4 of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Each registered participant will have up to two hours to attempt to breach the security function on the device. Attempts must be made in the booth under professional supervision. The contest will run all four days during CES exhibit show floor hours or until the code is cracked and a winner is determined.”
