Apple Seeks 'Middle Way' For Foreign Factory Workers

One Saturday morning when I was 14, I took a temporary job in a lamp factory. I strung electric cords through metal parts. Over and over and over. For hour after hour. By the time my father picked me up late in the day, I’d had enough. I got in the car and solemnly promised, “I am going to college.”
