Based on what I’ve been reading about Dick Schulze, some expect a “bumpy day” tomorrow in Minneapolis when Best Buy holds its first annual meeting since he resigned from the board two weeks ago.
The most recent conjecture on all this comes in a story from the Star Tribune yesterday that outlines some of the intrigue surrounding Schulze as to whether he will actually attend the meeting, try to take Best Buy private, or quietly sell his stake in the chain he founded.
Even if he doesn’t attend tomorrow’s annual meeting, it should provide further details on what Best Buy’s plans are and initial reactions from its stockholders.
