My husband and I don’t usually do much for Valentine’s Day, but I think I’ve been selling myself short all these years. Who needs chocolates and flowers when you can have a superyacht - a superyacht with iPad control to boot?
The Strand Craft 166 comes with five staterooms, a bar, hidden Jacuzzi deck, a retractable flybridge and a garage … oh, and in the garage comes a car. (Excuse me, a supercar.) The car also comes with a built-in iPad that reportedly lets users view the engine and repair details within the control app. The Stand Craft’s iPhone app provides such home-control (yacht-control?) features as lighting, climate, and LED 3DTV and audio system control.
The app also has security features, although I would think that a $50 million boat would require some kind of superbutler to keep watch over the place.

You need to know the basics. You don't need an anacdved degree in electronic engineering unless you want to design and build audio gear. If you're interested in live sound and working as an engineer in a studio the basics are a huge help, but not a requirement.
