No 3D For Me
When I previewed the 3D TV demos at International CES, I had a hard time getting excited about the technology because I found the whole experience uncomfortable. My eyes had trouble focusing on the 3D images, and I always took the glasses off before the demo had completed. Since I have a host of vision problems, I assumed I was the only one.
But according to an article by Rafe Needleman on CNN.com, being “stereo-blind” is a real occurrence, and one that TV manufacturers may need to pay attention to.

Lisa, I agree. I too have a myriad of vision problems and I have enough trouble seeing in 2-D. Despite the industry push, I believe it will only appeal to a small slice of the public. A 3-D movie experience is just that--an experience. A 3-D TV is just that--a TV.

Agreed, 3D seems like a big yawn; particularly since all the content needs to be reworked. Without content, everything else does not matter.
Other features that require little extra cost seem much more exciting. For example, now that many TVs have microprocessors, the whole world of streaming Internet based content becomes available. Alas, most TVs and disk players restrict content.

Lisa, This is true for some. If Your Color Blind it can cause Problems. It will be better when don’t need glass’s. I heard Samsung has been working on this ?
