Here’s a roundup of some recent announcements in the world of flash memory:

Eye-Fi has introduced the Eye-Fi Pro ($149 suggested retail, currently available), a wireless SDHC memory card for digital cameras that is said to let users automatically upload images straight from their camera to their computer and the Web. It includes RAW image support and peer-to-peer connectivity for a direct connection between the camera and a computer; no router or Internet connection required, said the company.

Eye-Fi also said users can now select which photos or videos they want to wirelessly transfer from their camera to their computer or the Web by using the new Selective Transfer feature. “Using the standard ‘protect’ or ‘lock’ feature in any camera’s menu, users can select which files to wirelessly upload. Any ‘protected’ photo or video will automatically be uploaded, and all photos and videos will remain on the memory card until the user manually deletes them,” said the company. Selective Transfer is free and available now for all Eye-Fi card users through the Eye-Fi Manager, it added.

Active Media Products (AMP) launched a new World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Penguin USB flash drive. AMP reportedly donates 5 percent of the retail price of the product line to WWF. The rubber USB flash drive is designed to resemble an emperor penguin and comes in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities.

SanDisk debuted its netbook SDHC removable flash-memory card, engineered to let users increase their netbooks’ storage capacity. The cards are offered in 8GB and 16GB capacities for $39.99 and $79.99, respectively. They are currently available.

Specialists argue that loans help people to live their own way, just because they can feel free to buy necessary stuff. Furthermore, various banks give short term loan for all people.
