Do We Need a Tech Czar?

Apparently, Barack Obama thinks so. According to National Journal, the Czar would help the White House coordinate tech policy.

Jim Harper at CATO says no thanks. Me, I think the whole czar concept is a harbinger of bureacratic doom. Nevertheless, it’s interesting to see tech-related issues bubble to the surface of the campaign.
