 In other unfortunate music industry news, Wired may have caught SoundExchange (the industry’s digital royalty collection agency) engaging in some illegal lobbying. 

And since no post on the music industry would be complete without the obligatory lawsuit (or threat thereof), here’s a bit on Universal threatening to sue retailers over an imported album.
