No Takers on HP Cam Biz

Last year, HP announced that it was pulling out of the digital camera business to focus on printing.

The original plan was to have an OEM in place by the first half of 2008 that would carry on the business. That hasn’t happened yet, according to a company spokesperson, and is unlikely to happen this year. According to the spokesperson, HP has shipped the last of its digital cameras and the majority of channel inventory has been sold.
