Samsung’s Cellular Digicam

Some blogs have picked up on a new Samsung camera – the i70 – which, among other things, is equipped with HSDPA (high speed download packet access) – a 3G cellular technology.

No word yet on when, or even if, the product will be introduced into the U.S. market. It will likely be featured in U.S. technology demos, however, a company spokesman said.

If you want a look right now, it’s appearing on the company’s global product page but there is no discussion of how the wireless imaging functions would work. It can also send text messages and has portable media player functionality.
