Taiwan Camera Vendors Up

Digitimes reports that “three of the top four Taiwan-based ODM/OEM makers of digital cameras, on July 6 reported their self-estimated consolidated revenues for June of this year, recording year-on-year growth of 40.2 percent, 27.3 percent and 41 percent, respectively.” (Full story here.)

It will be interesting to see if this news presages continued unit sales growth for the U.S. digital camera market, or just shifting dynamics within the camera manufacturing sector.
