Intel Solar Biz Rises

I had no idea Intel made photovoltaic solar cells, but Intel announced it is spinning this business off under the name SpectraWatt. Intel will invest $50 million in the new company through Intel Capital, the company’s global investment arm.

Hopefully, Intel can apply Moore’s Law to the solar-power field.
