Bunnies, Play-Doh And The Rolling Stones

October 8, 2007

As a card-carrying member of the TiVo generation, I rarely watch commercials anymore. But this European spot for Sony Bravia LCD TVs is definitely worth 90 seconds of your day. According to Sony, it took 40 animators three weeks to shoot it on location in New York using stop-action photography and 2.5 tons of Play-Doh. The spot was directed by Frank Budgen and the animation team is from Passion Pictures. It was conceived by London-based Fallon. Very impressive.
