Irving, Texas – Uniden America has named three key sales and marketing executives to its leadership team.
Kip Sullivan, sales VP for North and South America at Cobra, has joined Uniden as sales and marketing executive VP, a new position. An executive with more than 25 years of industry experience, he was Uniden’s sales VP from 2006 to 2008.
Derek Blubaugh, a 20-year industry veteran who was most recently sales director of Coby Electronics, has been named as sales director for North America, also a new position.
Franklin Raines joins Uniden as national account manager. Raines works with many of Uniden’s major customers, including Amazon.com, West Marine, BassPro Shops and Cabela’s. Prior to joining Uniden, he was a sales representative for Newell Rubbermaid.
These three executives join the following Uniden managers who are continuing with the company: Paul Opitz, product development director; Mark Lessor, who is responsible for Uniden’s new product lineup in the video-surveillance category; and J. Patrick Reirdon, operations director.
