Denver – Outdoor TV manufacturer SunBriteTV is using CEDIA Expo 2013 to introduce a universal outdoor transmitter module for both residential and commercial applications.
The SunBriteTV (booth 2904) weatherproof wireless HD Transceiver model SB-HDMIWT will be able to transmit Full 1080p HD content to any SunBriteTV within range of 150 feet via an HDMI-in and HDMI-out transceiver, the company said.
Also being unveiled are a new rebate campaign and SunBriteTV backyard set-up photo contest.
The peripheral device is compatible with all SunBriteTV models as well as other HDMI-featured products.
SunBriteTV’s new football-themed consumer rebate promotion, called “Best Seat in the House,” is slated to start Oct. 1 and run through the end of the year.
Consumers will be eligible to receive $300 back on SunBriteTV’s Signature Series model 4660HD ($2,795). A $400 rebate is also available for the models 5560HD ($3,995) and 6560HD ($6,995).
Dealers will be able to retain full retail prices and gross margins, the company said.
The company will also showcase the launch of its new Backyard of the Year Contest, which will evaluate submitted photos of backyard entertainment setups.
An August winner featured a poolside SunBriteTV and a swim-up bar, but all backyards that include a SunBriteTV are eligible to win.
A panel of judges will pick two winners each month to receive a Soundcast Melody wireless outdoor speaker ($449 suggested retail) and be entered to win the grand prize at the end of the year for over $6,000 in high-end backyard lifestyle products from Soundcast and Lynx Grills.
