Thousand Oaks, Calif. –  SunBriteTV, the manufacturer or outdoor LCD TVs, said it recently selected a group of winners for the month of October in its Backyard of the Year contest.

The company said the October submissions demonstrate outdoor entertaining can be a year-round event.

Since July 2013, SunBriteTV owners have submitted photos of their backyard TV placements for the contest. October’s winners featured a dockside SunBriteTV and another complementing an outdoor fireplace.

All backyards that include a SunBriteTV are eligible to win.

Each month two panel-selected winners receive a Soundcast Melody Wireless Outdoor Speaker ($449 suggested retail value) and are entered to win the grand prize at the end of the year- over $6,000 in high-end backyard lifestyle products from Soundcast and Lynx Grills, the company said.

SunBriteTV offers a gallery of photo submissions that viewers can browse for their own planning ideas and to vote on winners.

SunBriteTV invites dealers to submit photos of their SunBriteTV installations to win the monthly prize of a $300 discount off future SunBriteTV products and be eligible for the dealer grand prize—a SunBriteTV 5560HD.

Every SunBriteTV includes a 2-year warranty, a weatherproof remote, and a built-in 20-watt sound system. Optional accessories include a variety of wall-, ceiling- or pole-mount installation solutions, dust covers and FM Radio.

All models withstand temperatures from -24 to 122-degrees Fahrenheit, and resist rain, humidity, salt corrosion, dust, and insects.

Anti-glare screens are added to keep images bright at any time of the day or night.

The company also is running a direct-to-consumer rebate promotion through the balance of the year on select models. Customers who purchase 46-, 55- and 65-inch Signature Series models are eligible to receive a mail-in rebate for $300 on the 46-inch and $400 on the 55- and 65-inch models.
