North Dallas – Starpower Home Entertainment Systems unveiled its remodeled flagship showroom to celebrities and the trade here during a VIP preview on Sunday.
Some 500 guests attended the sneak peek at the $3 million remodel. The 15,000-square-foot showroom is the specialty chain’s first to showcase CE, appliances and flooring under one roof, and features interactive media rooms and live kitchens by Thermador, Viking and Sub-Zero, where the evening’s repasts were prepared.
Starpower, a three-time winner of TWICE’s Excellence In Retailing Award, will open the doors to the public today with a host of grand-opening events including cooking sessions with Viking and Thermador chefs, a Sony 4K showcase featuring the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, and live remote broadcasts by local radio stations.
In addition, purchases of $1,500 or greater will qualify customers for a chance to win a pair of platinum-level Dallas Mavericks home game tickets, and special grand-opening pricing will be offered at all four Starpower locations in Scottsdale, Ariz., and throughout the Dallas metro area.
This TWICE webinar, hosted by senior editor Alan Wolf, will take a look at what may be the hottest CE products at retail that will be sold during the all-important fourth quarter. Top technologies, market strategies and industry trends will be discussed with industry analysts and executives.
