San Diego — Sony Electronics has begun to accept orders for its FMP-X1 4K Ultra media player, set for delivery by July 15.

The $699 player will be preloaded with 10 titles from Sony Pictures Entertainment with more expected later in the year.

Those who have already purchased a Sony 4K Ultra High-Definition TV are eligible to receive a $200 voucher toward the purchase of the media player, according to the company. The voucher will be valid for 60 days from the date of the email.

Sony introduced the player with its Ultra 4K TVs during January at International CES and provided updated information in April along with the TV prices.
