Houston — Seidio has updated its Obex case for the Samsung Galaxy S4.
The new case is designed to be slimmer and more durable. The screen protector has been improved, the company said, and the rubber stoppers are now attached to the ports.
Features for the polycarbonate and thermoplastic polyurethane case include a snap-in design, rounded corners, military-grade drop testing, and IP68 water protection, which means the case can be continuously submerged in water.
The new Obex will start shipping next week in black or red. Seidio said it will launch additional colors in the future. Suggested retail is $79.95.
The previous Obex case recently won a TWICE VIP Award in the smartphone accessories category.
