Seoul, South Korea – Samsung said here Monday that its U.S. TV sales reached a new monthly record of 1.15 million units in October, topping the 1 million sales milestone set last year at the same time.
Samsung said it hopes to use the accomplishment at achieve its “the 7th consecutive global best seller title.”
Samsung attributed its 1.15 million unit October success rate in the “fiercely competitive North American market” to “premium marketing, an efficient supply management strategy, and technology prowess.”
Samsung Electronics is using its flagship 75-inch ES9000 Smart TV at the head of a premium marketing effort “to consolidate its market leadership knowing that the potential demand for super large TV is there in the US market,” the company said in a statement.
