Mahwah, N.J. — Sharp Electronics Company of America (SEMCA) said Thursday that John Revie has been promoted to home entertainment sales VP, replacing John Homlish, who has joined Haier America.
Previously, Revie was Sharp’s product marketing VP, having joined the company in August after a long association with Samsung Electronics
In his new role, Revie will be responsible for all home entertainment sales through the national, regional, distribution and specialty channels.
He will report directly to John Herrington, SEMCA president.
Revie is a 20-plus-year industry veteran, having served with Sony prior to joining Samsung.
“We are excited to have John lead our home entertainment sales efforts,” said Herrington. “John brings a high energy level and deep customer relationships to the position, and he will be instrumental in continuing Sharp’s growth in the market.”
