Vernon, Calif. — QFX expanded its selection of portable Bluetooth PA speakers, said to be ideal for such outdoor uses as tailgating and picnicking.
The $99 PBX-706100BT complements a lineup of more than 20 Bluetooth-equipped portable PA speakers priced from $129 to $499 and more than two dozen AC-only Bluetooth-equipped PA speakers.
The new portable becomes the company’s smallest portable PA speaker with Bluetooth, thanks to a mono 6-inch driver, said sales and marketing director Joel Abrams. Other models have drivers from 10 to 15 inches, and they feature built-in wheels.
The new portable features NFC, a USB port, memory card reader, mono 6-inch driver, built-in rechargeable battery, aux input, FM tuner and TV analog-audio input. It’s available in red, blue or black and measures 15 inches by 10.5 inches by 10.5 inches.
The top of the portable Bluetooth PA speaker selection is a two-way model with 15-inch woofer, handle bar, wheels, FM tuner, USB, memory card slot, microphone inputs and dimensions of 18.9 by 17.9 by 28.8 inches.
Separately, the company recently shipped a new Bluetooth boombox, the $109 J-125BT with cassette, USB, SD card slot and aux in.
Two other Bluetooth boomboxes unveiled earlier this year will ship sometime later this year with USB, memory card slot, FM and aux in.
QFX, which targets value-conscious consumers, offers a variety of home, portable and car audio electronics, including PA speakers, tailgate speakers, small LED TVs, tablets, Bluetooth headphones, portable Bluetooth speakers, Bluetooth mini systems, portable multimedia players, boomboxes, shortwave multiband radios and headphones.
