Pittsburgh – The PowerHouse Alliance has added two distributors to its group, Sierra Select Distributing and Dorrance Supply Company.
Sierra Select Distributing has been in business for more than 30 years and is based in Northern California. Sierra covers both the Northern California and Northern Nevada areas. In addition to their consumer electronics/custom-installation products division, Sierra also distributes mobile audio, home appliances and several upscale lines of outdoor cooking products, PowerHouse said.
Dorrance Supply has been in business for more than 75 years and is a third-generation company, with locations in Youngstown, Ohio, and Indianapolis. It also features consumer electronics/custom-installation products and a second division featuring name-brand white-goods vendors, PowerHouse noted.
Dorrance Supply’s total marketing territory includes Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Kentucky.
“We feel these two additions add to the PowerHouse Alliance’s already strong lineup of membership and fit the mission and vision of the group,” said Dennis Holzer, executive director of PowerHouse.
The group said it will now have 35 fully stocked strategically located warehouses across the country focusing on consumer electronic and custom-installation dealers.
PowerHouse Alliance will be an exhibitor during this week’s CEDIA Expo in Indianapolis.
This TWICE webinar, hosted by senior editor Alan Wolf, will take a look at what may be the hottest CE products at retail that will be sold during the all-important fourth quarter. Top technologies, market strategies and industry trends will be discussed with industry analysts and executives.
