Palo Alto, Calif. — Ooma will begin shipping its first small-business VoIP phone system, Ooma Office, next week.
Designed for businesses with 10 or fewer employees, Ooma Office supports up to five phone extensions and up to 10 phone lines. Each line costs $19.99 per month.
Features of the system include an online interface to control settings remotely, up to 15 virtual extensions to forward to external numbers, a virtual receptionist, extension dialing, on-hold music, ring groups, conference bridges, E911, call transfer and directory listing.
The Ooma Office starter pack will carry a $249 suggested retail, which includes the Ooma Office base station and two Ooma Linx devices to support up to three phone extensions. It can be expanded to five phone extensions with the purchase of additional Ooma Linx devices.
