Douglasville, Ga. — Omega Research and Development Technologies has expanded its remote-starter offering with the addition of a “deluxe” stand-alone one-button model.
The RS-255-EDP+, part of Omega’s Excalibur line, features lock and unlock outputs, providing the ability to connect such features as ignition-activated lock control, or control of the door locks using an Omega CarLink GPS interface, the company said.
It also has a built-in temperature sensor for automatic starting and defrost output; operating range is listed at 1,500 feet.
A window-mount antenna with a built-in valet button is included. Pricing wasn’t provided.
