Redmond, Wash. – Nintendo said Wednesday that a special 3DS XL bundle with Mario Kart 7 pre-installed will go on sale at leading retailers Dec. 2.
In the kit, Nintendo is offering a Blue/Black Nintendo 3DS XL with Mario Kart 7 at a $199.99 street price.
If purchased separately, the system and the game would carry suggested retail prices of $199.99 and $39.99, respectively.
The portable Nintendo 3DS XL system features two screens that are 90 percent larger than the original Nintendo 3DS. The system supports glasses-free 3D viewing.
Also included is the Nintendo eShop, a one-stop shop for downloadable new games. Virtual Console games, free game demos and full downloadable versions of retail games are also included.
Available for play are augmented-reality games and features and Nintendo Video, a channel offering free one-of-a-kind 3D videos.
